Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Physically capable of standing walking up to eight hours and lifting up to 50 pounds
- No known allergic reaction to cleaning chemicals
- Ability to respond to visual and aural cues
- Ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Must meet level three or medium work requirements as defined by the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles
- Must maintain professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights weekends holidays and extended hours as needed
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Ability to work well with team members and supervisory staff
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
- 90 days of Prairie Band Casino & Resort Room Attendant experience preferred
- Previous hotel housekeeping and/or environmental services experience preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Basic English communication skills
Job Duties
- Completes initial cleaning of guest rooms including removal of linens towels and trash
- Ensures adequate level of inventory in Room Attendant cleaning carts
- Expedites needed guest room amenities and supplies
- Maintains hotel corridor and elevator cleanliness
- Cleans and maintains assigned storage rooms and cleaning carts including stocking with sheets pillows cases towels and all amenities
- Properly removes soiled bed linens
- Delivers guest room amenities and supplies as requested
- Functions as Laundry Attendant Room Attendant Heavy Duty Room Attendant and/or Rooms Control Coordinator as needed
- Adheres to regulatory departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Performs other duties as assigned
