Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED certificate, or vocational school diploma
  • One to two years of job-related experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work up to 15 hours per week including evenings and weekends
  • Flexibility for on-call shifts
  • Ability to pass a background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of job-related experience
  • Skills in office-related computer systems and applications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with event-related software preferred
  • Ability to communicate and interact within multicultural groups
  • Familiarity with fire codes for public venues
  • Training in basic first aid and AED defibrillator use
  • Technical diploma, associate degree, or two years of college coursework preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff ushers, student assistants, and volunteers for event facilitation
  • Coordinate security, event services, hospitality, and custodial for performances and meetings
  • Assist in front-of-house logistics coordination for events
  • Implement house management procedures to ensure safe patron attendance
  • Set up and restore lobby equipment according to event requirements
  • Facilitate sales for concessions and merchandise at events
  • Assist the box office as requested by the coordinator
  • Train staff, students, and volunteer ushers
  • Perform other assigned duties
