Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED certificate, or vocational school diploma
- One to two years of job-related experience
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work up to 15 hours per week including evenings and weekends
- Flexibility for on-call shifts
- Ability to pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of job-related experience
- Skills in office-related computer systems and applications
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with event-related software preferred
- Ability to communicate and interact within multicultural groups
- Familiarity with fire codes for public venues
- Training in basic first aid and AED defibrillator use
- Technical diploma, associate degree, or two years of college coursework preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise staff ushers, student assistants, and volunteers for event facilitation
- Coordinate security, event services, hospitality, and custodial for performances and meetings
- Assist in front-of-house logistics coordination for events
- Implement house management procedures to ensure safe patron attendance
- Set up and restore lobby equipment according to event requirements
- Facilitate sales for concessions and merchandise at events
- Assist the box office as requested by the coordinator
- Train staff, students, and volunteer ushers
- Perform other assigned duties
