Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- some work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
- must be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- comfort working in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- attendance and engagement in assigned training sessions
- willingness to interact with various university departments as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- some work experience relevant to event management or customer service
- experience with house management or front-of-house operations preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- familiarity with theater policies and patron service practices preferred
Job Duties
- Setting up and running assigned small- to medium-sized events or assisting Lead House Manager on larger events
- making preparations for patron arrival
- receiving and informing volunteer and student ushers
- enforcing theater decorum, seating, and safety policies
- solving patron service issues including ticketing and seating problems
- releasing ushers post-show and securing venue
- interacting with other staff and departments as necessary
