Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service
  • Ability to work day, evening, and weekend hours as required
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb stairs repeatedly during performances
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to perform multiple tasks with changing assignments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Efficient problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb stairs during events
  • Quality customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoyment of public interaction and the performing arts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and close the front-of-house for performances including lighting and locking doors
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of theatre areas including restrooms and seating
  • Provide custodial assistance during events as needed
  • Manage ushers including sign-in and position assignments
  • Coordinate activities of all front-of-house volunteers
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations regarding event details
  • Complete house reports and maintain presence in the lobby to assist patrons
