Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or event management
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move between long and short distances including stairs
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible availability including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work on-site at Studio Theatre

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a customer-facing event role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ticketing software is a plus

Job Duties

  • Coordinating building opening times with Manager on Duty
  • Working closely with Manager on Duty to ensure proper staff are in place for all performances
  • Maintaining the "store," including inventory checks and daily reconciliation
  • Upholding the appearance of the lobby and all public areas to ensure a clean environment
  • Resolving conflicts involving patron seating issues
  • Conducting pre-show volunteer meetings
  • Maintaining ticket-scanning equipment, hearing impaired devices, and communication tools
  • Working closely with the Box Office to resolve patron ticketing issues timely and efficiently
  • Providing additional support during emergencies such as fire alarms and inclement weather warnings
  • Setting up tables, chairs, and signage for event rentals
  • Facilitating the organization and cleanliness of public spaces for events
  • Welcoming guests and checking tickets during events
  • Providing directions and venue information to guests
  • Enforcing theatre policies and procedures during events
  • Performing any additional tasks as assigned by the event manager or point of contact
