Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking during entire shift
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
Job Qualifications
- No formal education needed
- prior housekeeping experience desirable
- ability to communicate in English
Job Duties
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift
- remove newspapers and service trays
- remove trash and/or linens
- note areas needing immediate cleaning
- clean public areas including hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells
- remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from service areas
- aid section housekeepers as needed
- report missing or found articles, damage, or merchandise problems
- receive assigned section, keys, supplies and priority requests
- respond to guest requests and questions
- report guest issues and complaints
