Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check
- Able to stand for long periods
- Ability to occasionally reach overhead
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs
- For Doubletree and Columbus Marriott, must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Driving Report where required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow established protocols and procedures
- Team player with a customer service focus
Job Duties
- Set up cleaning cart with supplies needed for the day
- Maintain storeroom in an orderly fashion for efficiency
- Clean hotel areas including lobby, halls, walls, elevators, stairwells, public restrooms, and hotel entrance
- Empty trash cans
- Assist with delivery of guest amenities to rooms
- Help with deep cleaning after room renovations
- Report in writing any deficiencies to Manager for prompt resolution
- Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards
- Assist Room Attendants with dirty linens or trash and other duties requiring assistance
- Maintain neat appearance and wear uniform
- Maintain friendly and courteous demeanor to guests
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
