Job Requirements
- high school education or equivalent preferred
- four to six months housekeeping experience or training preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- ability to push carts weighing up to 200 pounds
- ability to work flexible shifts including holidays
- basic English communication skills
- ability to follow simple instructions

- ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties
- clean hallways lobbies corridors elevators stairways
- sweep scrub wax and polish floors
- clean rugs carpets upholstered furniture and draperies using vacuum
- dust furniture and equipment
- polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
- wash walls ceiling and woodwork
- wash windows door panels and sills
- maintain public area cleanliness including restrooms
- empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays
- transport trash and waste to disposal area
- stock room attendant carts with linen and room supplies
- strip or remove dirty linen and transport to laundry room
- retrieve clean linens from laundry room and properly stock on floors
- fold towels sheets linens as needed
- stock closets or storage areas as required
- assist room attendants with heavy lifting and moving furniture and equipment in guest rooms
- maintain storage areas organization and cleanliness
- assist with maintenance and cleaning of pool as applicable
- careful use of supplies issued for cleaning and maintenance duties
- acknowledge and greet each guest
- provide knowledge of in-house product and local area information
- display proper organizational skills when stocking cart
- respond timely to customer needs for housekeeping supplies
- use guest name when entering occupied room
- perform other assigned duties
