Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the radio
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or complete internal driving training
  • Ability to lift or handle items up to 50 pounds
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Club business
  • Willingness to perform housekeeping and light maintenance tasks

Job Qualifications

  • 0-2 years experience in housekeeping, valet, or hospitality roles preferably in a club or hotel environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively to make members and guests feel welcome
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or successfully complete internal motor vehicle training program

Job Duties

  • Assist arriving and departing members and guests with their luggage, golf clubs, and other personal items
  • Welcome and greet arriving members and guests and escort them to their accommodation
  • Escort departing members to transportation and assist with luggage
  • Valet cars for members and guests arriving by personal vehicles
  • Prepare member rooms and ensure green jackets are placed prior to arrival
  • Set up in-room bars with liquor, garnishes, and barware
  • Fulfill member special requests such as newspaper delivery, fireplace care, and light housekeeping
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning porches, and removing trash
  • Maintain cleanliness of golf carts and report any issues
  • Deliver supplies to member accommodations and retrieve soiled linens
  • Monitor heating, air conditioning, and general maintenance of accommodations and report problems
  • Provide information to members and guests while maintaining confidentiality
  • Complete any other duties assigned by Clubhouse and Housekeeping Managers
  • Transport and store member personal belongings
