Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of protective equipment
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- good communication skills in English
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Utilize proper protective equipment (ppe) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines
- maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts
- run laundry and empty housekeepers’ trash
- clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines
- maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors
- shampoo carpets as assigned
- turn mattresses as assigned
- clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned
- report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry)
- provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
