Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and bending
- basic understanding of safety procedures
- availability to work flexible part-time shifts
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plumbing
- basic knowledge of electrical systems
- basic knowledge of carpentry
- basic knowledge of drywall repair
- basic knowledge of screening and locks
- previous housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred
- ability to work part-time hours reliably
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts
- run laundry and empty housekeepers trash
- clean lobby and exterior windows
- maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, exterior lighting fixtures, public benches, exterior of guestroom doors
- shampoo carpets as assigned
- turn mattresses as assigned
- clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned
- assist the Lead Engineer in small projects and maintenance tasks
- complete paint touch-up work as required
- take items to rooms such as rollaway beds, towels, coffee etc. as requested by the front desk
- perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs or assist the Lead Engineer with these tasks
- report all unsafe conditions and suspicious activities immediately and complete incident reports as needed
