Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • frequent use of hands, fingers, and wrists for cleaning tools and equipment
  • ability to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial
  • knowledge of cleaning equipment use is advantageous

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or maintenance preferred but not required
  • knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
  • strong attention to detail
  • effective time management skills

  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • ability to assist with various cleaning and maintenance tasks

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and stairwells
  • sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum common areas
  • ensure public restrooms are stocked and clean throughout the day
  • clean furniture, windows, and surfaces in public spaces
  • assist with cleaning and organizing back-of-house areas
  • maintain cleanliness and safety in service areas
  • collect and transport dirty linens, deliver clean linens to storage
  • provide assistance to housekeeping team members including Room Attendants and Supervisors
  • respond promptly to guest or departmental requests
  • assist with guest luggage transport as needed
  • stock housekeeping carts and storage with cleaning supplies and amenities
  • notify supervisors of supply needs
  • organize and rotate stock to maintain inventory
  • follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
  • report safety hazards and maintenance issues
  • assist with guest room cleaning and restocking
  • support during busy periods and special events
  • perform special cleaning tasks assigned by supervisors
