Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years of customer service experience
  • One to two years of operations or house management experience preferred
  • Customer service experience in guest, volunteer or event management preferred
  • Knowledge of computer basics
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks calmly under pressure
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic theatre environment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Crowd Management certification preferred
  • Minimum of three years of customer service experience
  • One to two years of experience in operations or house management in theatre or performance settings preferred
  • Supervisory experience with volunteers preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of computer basics including word processing, email, and web applications
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and organizational levels
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing performance environment
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to build relationships with volunteers, patrons, and support teams
  • Maintain professionalism and poise in all situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

  • Assist the House Manager on duty during shifts
  • Work with volunteers to provide impeccable customer service and safety
  • Greet and assist patrons professionally ensuring high-quality satisfaction
  • Attend pre- and post-performance meetings to improve patron experience
  • Be knowledgeable of policies, procedures, and upcoming events
  • Assist with the completion of performance notes and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
