- Experience with banquet or event service a plus
Job Duties
- Familiarizing guests with menu and daily specials
- Accurately recording food and drink orders
- Running multi-course meals
- Tallying bills
- Memorizing details of daily specials, seasonal menu items, and rotating craft beer options
- Providing elegant high-end service during private events
- Setting up and tearing down event spaces including lifting up to 50lbs
- Assisting servers with bussing tables and preparing for next customers
- Delivering orders accurately as food runner with strong menu knowledge
- Stocking bar, cleaning glassware, and supporting bartenders as barback
- Organizing and planning food orders quickly and accurately as expo
- Greeting guests warmly, managing seating charts and reservations as host/hostess
- Operating dish machine and maintaining cleanliness
- Preparing menu items according to recipes and quality standards as prep, pastry, or line cook
- Upholding safety and cleanliness in kitchen
- Working efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume settings
