Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of experience in related serving or kitchen role
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina for lifting up to 50lbs and standing for extended periods
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to memorize detailed menu and specials
  • must be at least 18 years old for barback positions
  • willingness to work in fast paced, high volume environments
  • capability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to memorize menu details
  • knowledge of beverage options including wine and bourbon is a plus
  • physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • capability to work long hours including event days
  • proficiency with digital order management systems preferred

  • experience in food preparation and kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • familiarize guests with menu and daily specials
  • accurately record food and drink orders
  • run multi-course meals
  • tally bills
  • memorize details of daily specials, seasonal menu items and options, as well as rotating craft beer options, extensive wine and bourbon knowledge and options
  • provide elegant high-end service for private banquet events
  • set up and tear down events including lifting up to 50lbs
  • work hours with potential downtime during banquet events
  • assist servers by bussing tables and preparing tables for next customers
  • understand seat numbers, pivot points, table numbers and layout for efficient food running
  • maintain bar stock and cleanliness, assist bartenders, rotate product and handle kegs up to 120lbs
  • organize food orders in high volume expo position using digital KDS system
  • welcome guests warmly and manage seating chart
  • respond to guest inquiries promptly and politely
  • handle food running duties and menu knowledge requirements
  • perform daily cleaning tasks
  • answer phone calls and input reservations
  • complete gift card and carryout order transactions
  • operate dish machine efficiently
  • prepare menu items according to portion control and quality standards
  • follow recipes and kitchen instructions
  • uphold quality, cleanliness and safety standards
  • work fast paced high volume kitchen
