Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to memorize menu items and specials
- Experience handling high volume dining and events
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with POS and digital kitchen display systems is a plus
- Physical capability to lift moderate weights
- Team-oriented mindset with reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Familiarizing guests with menu and daily specials
- Accurately recording food and drink orders
- Running multi-course meals
- Tallying bills
- Memorizing details of daily specials, seasonal menu items, and rotating craft beer options along with extensive wine and bourbon knowledge
- Providing elegant high-end service for private events with up to 200 people
- Setting up and tearing down event spaces including lifting up to 50lbs
- Assisting servers by bussing tables and preparing tables for the next set of customers
- Managing bar stock, delivering product to bartenders, cleaning and polishing glassware, possibly taking orders
- Organizing and expediting food orders, using digital KDS system
- Welcoming guests warmly and managing the seating chart
- Monitoring restaurant activity to optimize seating flow
- Responding to guest inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Operating dish machine and maintaining cleanliness
- Preparing menu items according to recipes and portion control
- Upholding standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Executing high volume food preparation in a fast-paced environment
