Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in food and beverage culinary with pastry and garde manger preferred
- Relevant college coursework preferred
- Fully experienced with various kitchen equipment
- Ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach
- Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
- Near vision ability to see details at close range
- Ability to move quickly and agilely
- Ability to work long hours as required
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English

Job Duties
- Mentor cooks, trainees, and support staff to deliver the Executive Chef's vision
- Train and develop team members for all food outlets including banquet areas
- Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and staff engagement while ensuring safety
- Oversee safe production, preparation, and presentation of food
- Manage kitchen operations in the Executive Chef’s absence
- Follow and enforce safety, security, sanitation, and safe food handling procedures
- Learn and apply new culinary techniques, skills, and financial responsibilities including scheduling, budgeting, and ordering
