Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • previous food service or BOH experience or leadership experience preferred
  • strong awareness of safe food-handling and kitchen safety standards
  • ability to maintain professionalism in a guest-facing environment
  • strong multitasking abilities at a fast pace
  • basic math skills for counting portioning and cash handling
  • comfortable performing tasks in view of guests
  • willingness to learn Hooters menu systems and procedures
  • ServSafe Food Handler and/or ServSafe Alcohol certification may be required by location

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare cook and present all Hooters menu items following exact recipe specifications
  • maintain picture-perfect food presentation standards
  • execute kitchen setup and breakdown procedures
  • ensure proper food rotation labeling receiving and storage
  • maintain strict food safety and sanitation practices ServSafe standards
  • oversee dish area cleanliness and waste removal
  • complete prep lists par levels and assigned tasks with accuracy
  • demonstrate strong knife equipment and safety skills
  • maintain speed accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment
  • support training of new BOH employees and uphold Hooters kitchen systems
  • lead FOH and BOH teams during assigned shifts to maintain service excellence
  • support Hooters Girl performance hospitality and guest engagement standards
  • maintain ticket times and communication between the dining room and kitchen
  • perform guest touchpoints recover service issues and elevate the guest experience
  • assist with floor plan management table rotation and overall FOH flow
  • support cash handling deposits comps voids and daily reporting when assigned
  • oversee FOH cleanliness food running expo line execution and service accuracy
  • execute daily operational routines checklists and opening closing procedures
  • model Hooters culture appearance standards and teamwork expectations
  • coach team members on procedures policies and brand standards
  • serve as the on-shift lead when assigned directing both FOH and BOH personnel
  • enforce Hooters safety sanitation and brand standards across the restaurant
  • communicate clearly with the management team regarding staffing inventory and shift performance
  • support new hire training for both FOH and BOH roles
  • maintain labor controls and adjust deployment in real time
  • assist with inventory rotation waste logs prep planning and product quality checks
  • demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a calm positive presence under pressure
