Job Requirements
- No formal education requirements
- Previous experience in fast food or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Availability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, squat, climb, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Valid driver’s license for occasional driving duties
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role in food service preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate kitchen and food preparation equipment
- Knowledge of cash handling and register operation
- Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for report handling
Job Duties
- Assist general manager and assistant manager to supervise crew members and team leaders
- Maintain a good level of customer service and ensure orders are taken promptly, accurately, and courteously
- Resolve customer complaints as needed
- Open restaurant, set up cash drawers, initiate computer run, and make final deposit of previous night’s receipts
- Turn on fryers, broilers, and breakfast grills
- Prepare food and serve customers at counter and drive-thru window
- Prepare garnish for lunch sandwiches, cut lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions
- Receive and store incoming shipments of food
- Rotate stock in freezer and cooler
- Perform minor repairs
- Operate cash register
- Close restaurant, clean kitchen equipment and dining room, prepare final deposit and closing paperwork
- Help build a positive and motivating environment committed to delivering superior customer service
