Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service preferred
- ServeSafe certification
- ability to lift frequently and transport hot food
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- physical capability to handle kitchen environment conditions
Job Qualifications
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- ServeSafe certification
- ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- food service experience preferred
- able to lift and transport hot food items
- able to work in a kitchen environment with heat, steam, noise, and chemicals
Job Duties
- Lead and assist in preparation of food items and dating products
- coordinate station setup and breakdown
- cook and prepare foods according to recipes
- use accurate portions when preparing and serving
- maintain daily temperature logs
- take food samples prior to serving
- alert management of substandard food quality
- complete opening and closing station checklists
- greet customers and handle complaints with positivity
- maintain cleanliness of work stations and utensils
- dispose of waste accurately
- transfer supplies and equipment as needed
- assist with safety observations and report hazards
- cross-train in various kitchen areas
- work concessions, catering, and events as required
- perform assigned tasks from management
- lead and advise line employees for effective service
