Job Requirements
- must be able to pass a criminal background check
- must be able to pass a tuberculosis (tb) test
- availability for early morning shift from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving furniture
- reliable transportation or access to public transit
- ability to work monday through friday with no weekends
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- ability to operate power cleaning equipment safely
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- reliable and punctual work ethic
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- be the main point of contact for all janitorial matters
- clean up spills and messes as they occur
- change ceiling tiles and light bulbs when needed
- pull trash and remove it from the facility
- use power equipment such as blowers to clean entryways
- move desks, furniture and chairs
- sanitize high touch areas such as push plates, door handles, and water fountains
- sweep, mop, high and low dusting
- clean restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- perform all other duties as assigned
