Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years operational experience in a kitchen setting
  • minimum of two years culinary experience
  • able to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods
  • willing to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Oversees culinary production in the kitchen
  • ensures proper recipes are being followed
  • assists Executive Chef with daily operation
  • produces meals for Teachers Lounge
  • develops and is accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt
  • directly supervises culinary operations including coordination of staff, set-up, preparation, and service
  • maintain needs lists and organization of truck orders
  • ensure staff are placed properly and promptly on service line
  • coach and train cooks
  • address any production issues
  • maintain temp logs and vital food safety logs
  • quality assurance checks of service lines
  • reports to Executive Chef
  • any task given by supervisor and or manager

Mid Level (3-7 years)
