Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales experience
  • Experience with group or business transient sales
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with hotel CRM systems
  • Availability to work in San Diego Gaslamp Quarter
  • Eligible to work full-time

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales experience (group and/or business transient required)
  • Hilton brand experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in pre-opening, conversion, or ramp-up environments preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with hotel CRM and sales systems (Delphi/FDC or similar preferred)
  • Knowledge of the San Diego market a plus

Job Duties

  • Proactively solicit new group and negotiated corporate accounts through prospecting, networking, and outside sales activities
  • Manage incoming RFPs in accordance with brand and company standards
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and production goals
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability
  • Conduct site tours, client presentations, and virtual sales appointments
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Identify and secure negotiated corporate accounts within key demand generators
  • Manage annual corporate RFP process
  • Build strong relationships with travel managers and corporate clients
  • Ensure seamless transition of confirmed business to operations teams
  • Partner with Revenue Management to optimize business mix
  • Participate in forecasting and strategy sessions
  • Support development of the annual sales plan
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and reporting
