Job Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- Experience with group or business transient sales
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with hotel CRM systems
- Availability to work in San Diego Gaslamp Quarter
- Eligible to work full-time
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales experience (group and/or business transient required)
- Hilton brand experience strongly preferred
- Experience in pre-opening, conversion, or ramp-up environments preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel CRM and sales systems (Delphi/FDC or similar preferred)
- Knowledge of the San Diego market a plus
Job Duties
- Proactively solicit new group and negotiated corporate accounts through prospecting, networking, and outside sales activities
- Manage incoming RFPs in accordance with brand and company standards
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and production goals
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability
- Conduct site tours, client presentations, and virtual sales appointments
- Participate in trade shows and industry events
- Identify and secure negotiated corporate accounts within key demand generators
- Manage annual corporate RFP process
- Build strong relationships with travel managers and corporate clients
- Ensure seamless transition of confirmed business to operations teams
- Partner with Revenue Management to optimize business mix
- Participate in forecasting and strategy sessions
- Support development of the annual sales plan
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation and reporting
