Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or neighboring commutable area
  • One month of related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services
  • Strong English reading and writing skills
  • Effective communication skills for small groups and one-on-one interactions
  • Basic arithmetic proficiency including money operations
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Knowledge of parking rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (preferred)
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable parking rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities and main attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect them before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when required
