Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondences
- Physical ability to sit, stand for extended periods, walk, run, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Willingness to travel up to 5 percent
- Must follow established procedures and work under specific directions with frequent checks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and group settings
- Ability to perform basic math operations with American money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Desired ability to operate manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use daily salutations and welcome guests
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi help, reservations, and information about amenities
- Deliver guest messages and amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks and vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect vehicle revenue as needed
