Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to understand and use simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests, clients and coworkers
- Ability to perform basic math with money and time rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions
- Willingness to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and any shift
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform physical tasks such as reaching, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Skill in performing parallel parking.
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles promptly and safely
- Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up during arrival and departure
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional interaction with guests using their last names
- Greet guests within five feet with a professional demeanor and use salutation of the day
- Practice proper phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
- Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
- Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including damage surveys and revenue collection when needed.
