Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within commutable distance
- Minimum of one month related experience and/or training or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondences
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including money handling
- Capable of understanding time systems and applicable rates
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely, with manual transmission skills highly desired
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work outdoors under varying weather conditions
- Availability to work open schedule including weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility, and main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved places at the location
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- Complete location on all key tags after parking vehicles
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
