Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients, and coworkers
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using units of American money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates based on time
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxi services, reservations, and inquiries
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks and collect them prior to returning vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
