Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in stewarding or kitchen supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Supervise and lead stewarding staff during assigned shifts
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and dishwashing machines in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Oversee setup, breakdown, and proper distribution of stewarding equipment for banquets, restaurants, and special events
  • Monitor and control stewarding inventory, including china, glassware, silverware, and cleaning supplies
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations at all times
  • Coordinate with food and beverage departments to optimize operations
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing support and guidance
