Job Duties

  • Provides service excellence by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the casino, gift shop and spa
  • shows requested merchandise in display cases
  • enters guest purchase information into the ticketing system and point of sale system
  • collects and processes payment and returns applicable change
  • provides assistance and instruction in the use of spa facilities and services
  • provides guests with towels, water, and equipment as requested
  • answers guest inquiries
  • informs guests of promotions and specials
  • promptly notifies Spa and Salon Manager of guest comments and complaints
  • treats all guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • promotes guest relations by answering the phone and providing assistance and information regarding promotions and events
  • provides accounting of transactions during shift by entering cash transactions into point of sale system, counting currency, applying guest discounts, vouchers, player points, iComps, currency and credit cards into cashier drop worksheet
  • balances money drawer against generated cashier report and reports discrepancies
  • assists manager by providing guidance to team members, monitoring performance, and reporting non-compliance
  • acts as Manager on Duty when Retail and Spa management are off-site
  • maintains clean and orderly areas
  • maintains department equipment, materials and fixtures, including stocking merchandise, cleaning, maintaining storage areas, and reporting issues
  • provides administrative support by documenting reports, complaints, suggestions, assisting with promotions and distributing merchandise
