Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior sales experience preferred
- strong interpersonal skills
- reliable transportation
- ability to work under general supervision
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- willingness to travel occasionally
Job Qualifications
- intermediate knowledge of sales techniques
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- effective communication skills in English
- strong organizational and time management abilities
- experience in hospitality or sales is preferred
- ability to operate an automobile as needed
Job Duties
- coordinate meeting room details
- manage incoming inquiries
- conduct proactive sales calls for new business
- maintain relationships with existing clients
- assist with sales blitzes, tradeshows, and promotional opportunities
- follow Drury United sales processes and procedures
- promote hotel occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
