Job Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in hospitality sales
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in CRM systems
- willingness to participate in occasional weekend work
- availability to travel locally for client meetings and events
- ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality or related field preferred
- minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality sales
- proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- knowledge of hotel industry and sales processes
- ability to participate confidently in community and industry events
Job Duties
- Manage top corporate accounts in the market
- tactical and timely execution of hotel and market sales initiatives through account strategies
- properly manage the sales process through time of arrival
- strategic account planning, result accountability, and reporting
- leverage business and community relationships to drive transient, group and extended stay revenues
- proactive sales efforts to maximize business opportunities and revenue
- provide a comprehensive business partnership with accounts to drive loyalty, increase market share, and focus on customer experience
- performance accountability through goal and activity achievement
- update and manage Delphi.fdc system
- analyze operational and sales reports to identify opportunities and develop account strategies
- conduct sales calls, prospecting, site tours, blitzes, customer events and participate in trade shows
- identify and pursue new business development
- grow existing account portfolio and replace underperforming accounts
- manage the sales process from first contact to arrival
- execute account initiatives from market and hotel sales and marketing business plan
- participate in departmental meetings and team outings
- report weekly on sales activity and bookings
- accurate tracking and account data entry into CRM system
- be knowledgeable about brand sales initiatives, strategies, training and systems
- manage assigned sponsorships and affiliations
- participate in community events and organizations to promote company presence
- develop strategic business partnerships
- participate in customer entertainment events
- participate in corporate and brand sales training
- complete annual self-performance appraisal
- submit paid time off requests timely
- communicate professionally, clearly and concisely
- adhere to company policies and standards
