Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • One to two years related experience and/or training
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional image and follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
  • Goal-driven and able to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus
  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience considered
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability

Job Duties

  • Generate new business by proactively seeking and building client relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and group clients
  • Conduct sales calls, property tours, and presentations to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet revenue goals
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure client needs are met and events run smoothly
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities
  • Prepare sales reports and records of sales calls and activities
  • Participate in industry and civic organizations to promote business opportunities
  • Track activities of competition and hotel market position
  • Plan and participate in sales events and after-hours functions
  • Assist in development and implementation of marketing plans and promotional packages
  • Meet or exceed individual revenue and production goals set by management
