Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • one or more years hotel cleaning experience
  • familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred
  • ability to comply with company policies and standards
  • ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • punctuality and dependability
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • capability to perform physical cleaning duties safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • one or more years hotel cleaning experience
  • familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred

Job Duties

  • Clean and inspect guest rooms
  • clean and inspect public areas and back of the house
  • ensure compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, brand standards and regulations
  • ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • report maintenance problems promptly
  • respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction
  • log items into Lost and Found and respond to inquiries
  • be punctual and in proper uniform
  • attend department meetings
  • maintain consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and associates
  • perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
  • practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures
  • check with manager or supervisor before leaving work area
  • comply with all company policies and procedures
  • report incidents of guest dissatisfaction or matters of significance to management
  • perform other tasks as requested by management
