Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
- Reliable and punctual with regular attendance
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Tolerate environmental factors such as humidity cold heat dust and noise
- Physically able to work from ladders move furniture operate cleaning equipment and tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests immediately with friendly sincere acknowledgement
- Provide customer service to guests including information about hotel services activities and amenities
- Clean rooms including stripping dirty linens vacuuming dusting mopping washing dishes making beds moving furniture cleaning bathrooms and counters within allotted time frame
- Report deficiencies to management to maintain room compliance with hotel standards
- Replenish linen and guest amenities
- Assist team members as requested
- Follow key control protocol
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly
