Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of related housekeeping experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure
  • Ability to problem solve, organize, and prioritize workloads
  • Effective and diplomatic communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to perform frequent walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, and standing for full shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work additional hours and flexible shifts
  • Compliance with safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to follow company and departmental policies and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of recent or related housekeeping experience preferred
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workloads
  • Experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules and procedures
  • Warmly greet guests and team members
  • Ensure cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, halls, and lobbies reflect positively on the company
  • Maintain housekeeping operations in compliance with safety and employment laws and the Colorado Gaming Act
  • Perform duties in compliance with established security policies and procedures
  • Maintain highest standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Comply with established policies and procedures for guest safety and security
  • Politely communicate and cooperate with other departments to ensure highest degree of guest satisfaction
  • Assist guests with needs within compliance of the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • Clean 13 rooms per day in a scheduled shift
  • Use chemicals, supplies, and cleaning equipment in compliance with safety procedures
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment and follow universal precautions
  • Maintain quiet work environment on hotel floors
  • Exercise strict control of assigned floor key
  • Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and floors to departmental standards
  • Make beds, dust, vacuum, empty trash, and replenish supplies
  • Report all lost and found items
  • Maintain organization of housekeeping carts
  • Participate in monthly safety training
  • Respond immediately to emergency procedures including Code Red alarms
  • Report unusual occurrences or complaints to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned
