Job Duties

  • Enter guest rooms to strip beds, remove used linens, towels, and trash
  • ensure rooms are ready for room attendants to clean efficiently
  • clean hotel rooms including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, empty wastebaskets, changing bed linens, lobby and common areas
  • perform any laundry duties
  • coordinate with housekeeping supervisors and room attendants to prioritize room pulls
  • report maintenance issues or unusual room conditions promptly
  • follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including privacy and security standards
  • properly log, track, and secure any lost and found items
  • assist any other staff members prior to departure for the day
  • perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
