Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of recent or related housekeeping experience preferred
- Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English
- Able to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing, standing for an entire shift
- Ability to work in a high-altitude casino environment including exposure to noise and cigarette smoke
- Willingness to participate in safety training and emergency procedures
- Ability to follow safety rules, use safety equipment, and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to comply with security policies and Colorado Gaming Act regulations
Job Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience performing under deadlines or pressure
- Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing workloads
Job Duties
- Maintains clean and safe work environment complying with safety rules and procedures including use of safety equipment
- Warmly greets guests and team members
- Ensures cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, halls, and lobbies reflect positively on the company
- Maintains housekeeping operations in compliance with safety and employment laws and the Colorado Gaming Act
- Performs duties in compliance with established security policies and procedures
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Complies with policies and procedures for guest safety and security
- Politely communicates and cooperates with other departments for guest satisfaction
- Assists guests with needs within compliance limits
- Cleans 13 rooms per day in a scheduled shift
- Understands room status, types, locations, and amenities
- Uses chemicals and cleaning equipment safely
- Wears proper personal protective equipment and follows universal precautions
- Maintains quiet work environment on hotel floors
- Exercises strict control of assigned floor key
- Enters hotel rooms according to policy
- Cleans bathrooms and replenishes supplies
- Empties ash trays
- Reports lost and found items
- Maintains housekeeping cart organization
- Participates in safety training and emergency responses
- Reports unusual occurrences and follows company policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
