Job Requirements

  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight

  • Prior experience in a commercial baking or pastry operation preferred
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools preferred
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare all pastry products according to pastry shop standards
  • Assist higher level bakers as needed
  • Follow Chef instructions for all assigned duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and effectively
  • Work collaboratively within the culinary team to meet production goals
