Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in commercial baking or pastry preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a commercial baking or pastry operation preferred
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools preferred
  • highly responsible and reliable
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Duties

  • Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
  • assist higher level bakers
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry work area
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • manage inventory of baking supplies
  • contribute to recipe development and quality control
  • perform other duties as assigned by the Chef
