Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
  • Ability to read write and comprehend basic English
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition subtraction multiplication and division using money units
  • Ability to understand time systems and parking rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand monetary units
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand parking rates and time applicable charges
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests coworkers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
