Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Ability to read write and comprehend basic English
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition subtraction multiplication and division using money units
- Ability to understand time systems and parking rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Willingness to work overnight shifts including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand monetary units
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates and time applicable charges
- Ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
