Job Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license
  • previous supervisory experience preferred but not required
  • available to work full-time with flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and stooping
  • value diversity and ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds
  • ability to work long periods on feet including walking and stair climbing
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • ability to work with chemicals used in cleaning and sanitizing
  • ability to work with sharp objects including knives and slicers

  • Excellent knowledge of wine, ales, and spirits

Job Duties

  • Assist in all pub operations under the guidance of pub manager
  • perform responsibilities of non-management positions
  • perform all opening and closing duties
  • act as host overseeing shift operations
  • assign sections to servers
  • serve guests and take food and beverage orders
  • deliver products timely
  • collect payment and cashier
  • operate point of sale system
  • set-up, maintain, and breakdown service and work areas
  • regulate labor
  • oversee side work
  • perform cleaning duties
  • train staff
  • handle administrative duties as assigned
  • resolve personnel and customer service issues
  • provide appropriate customer service to ensure satisfaction
  • troubleshoot and solve problems during shift
  • report issues to management
  • work independently and as part of a team
  • perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and frequent walking
  • maintain knowledge of company policies and events
