Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or transferable skills
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use moderately complex computer systems
- Obtain and maintain required work cards including Nevada Gaming Registration
- Verify eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to occasionally lift or push up to 25 pounds
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and via radio or telephone
- Ability to hear and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting
- Comfortable working in indoor environments potentially smoky or noisy with bright flashing lights and temperature extremes
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and gases possible
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant transferable skills in a related environment
- Previous Front Desk or VIP Services experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of LMS preferred
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective organization and time management skills handling multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills in small and large group settings as well as one-on-one
- Proven experience providing high levels of guest service
- Ability to access and input information in moderately complex computer systems
- Minimum age of 21 years
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to obtain and maintain work cards as required
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Train and supervise team members on their assigned shifts
- Supervise the operation of VIP Services, Rooms Control, Bell/Baggage, and Valet to ensure efficiency and high quality service is provided to guests
- Maintain established effective controls to ensure adherence to department guidelines and recommend changes to enhance service, efficiency, and security of company funds
- Investigate and correct any shortages and errors
- Collaborate with hotel leadership in planning hotel promotions, special events, and sales groups for maximum utilization of room and block rates
- Recommend adjustments in room rates as necessary
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints and concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain established credit policies and manage guest ledger accounts exceeding normal limits, assisting in collections if required
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, internal controls, policies, procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to guests and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
