Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or transferable skills
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to use moderately complex computer systems
  • Obtain and maintain required work cards including Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Verify eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to occasionally lift or push up to 25 pounds
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and via radio or telephone
  • Ability to hear and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks including squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting
  • Comfortable working in indoor environments potentially smoky or noisy with bright flashing lights and temperature extremes
  • Exposure to dust, fumes, and gases possible

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant transferable skills in a related environment
  • Previous Front Desk or VIP Services experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of LMS preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective organization and time management skills handling multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills in small and large group settings as well as one-on-one
  • Proven experience providing high levels of guest service
  • Ability to access and input information in moderately complex computer systems
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to obtain and maintain work cards as required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Train and supervise team members on their assigned shifts
  • Supervise the operation of VIP Services, Rooms Control, Bell/Baggage, and Valet to ensure efficiency and high quality service is provided to guests
  • Maintain established effective controls to ensure adherence to department guidelines and recommend changes to enhance service, efficiency, and security of company funds
  • Investigate and correct any shortages and errors
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership in planning hotel promotions, special events, and sales groups for maximum utilization of room and block rates
  • Recommend adjustments in room rates as necessary
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain established credit policies and manage guest ledger accounts exceeding normal limits, assisting in collections if required
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, internal controls, policies, procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to guests and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
