Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in luxury hotel front office management
- Bachelor’s degree in hotel/resort management or business preferred
- Experience with Opera property management system preferred
- Computer literate with financial management skills
- Proven team leader with high energy and motivation
- Results oriented mindset
- Experience managing organized labor workforce
- Conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to speak additional languages preferred
- Availability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card before hire
- Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming License before hire
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years of prior luxury hotel management experience in a Front Office leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Resort Management or Business preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Opera is strongly preferred
- Computer literacy and financial management skills required
- Proven team leadership with high energy and motivation
- Results oriented with focus on individual and team accountability
- Experienced in managing organized labor workforce
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts efficiently
- Ability to speak additional languages preferred
- Open to working varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card and Nevada Gaming License prior to hire
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, facilitate, attend and/or participate in various hotel and departmental meetings
- Ensure compliance of brand standards, operating procedures and policies
- Determine the direction, support, training and tools to empower employees for win/win decisions
- Direct all activities of the Front Office and communicate with other departments to ensure guest and associate satisfaction
- Mentor and assist Front Desk agents with guest check-in and check-out, property information, upselling enhanced services, and anticipating guest needs
- Attend bimonthly management lobby/hotel functions
- Monitor and review guest comments via Pulse Report to identify areas for improvement and share with staff
- Ensure Front Office efficiencies through scheduling and monitoring staffing levels
- Monitor availability and occupancy daily and communicate with revenue manager to resolve challenges
- Complete and issue employee evaluations with Director of Hotel Operations approval
- Ensure all No-Show charges are accurate and properly posted
- Participate in Fire Safety and Loss Prevention programs
