Job Requirements

  • Previous management experience in a hotel necessary
  • Must have strong knowledge of Marriott systems including FOSSE, GXP, Marriott Global Source etc
  • Skills: Leadership, oral & written communication, customer service, and computer skills
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability

Job Duties

  • Supervises both department heads and the teams for front desk, F&B, housekeeping and engineering
  • Needs the skill set for hiring, terminating, coaching, disciplinary etc
  • Schedules subordinates, maintaining adequate staffing levels while adhering to labor standards guidelines
  • Perform accounts payable entry and processing
  • Assures maximum guest service through routine training
  • Ensures compliance with WA State, King County, Marriott and Lodging Dynamics training
  • Maintains accurate records including cash flow sheet, direct bill accounts, credit card receipts, direct bills, and credit cards authorizations
  • Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures
  • Maintains and implements established emergency procedures, assuring the security of guests and monies
