Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of Rooms operations experience in a luxury hotel or resort
  • proven ability to translate operational needs into effective training
  • strong interpersonal and coaching skills
  • highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide standards
  • experience in training or coaching in operations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Rooms operations experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment
  • proven ability to identify operational needs and translate them into effective training
  • strong facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities
  • familiarity with luxury service standards including Forbes Travel Guide criteria
  • experience training or coaching others in an operational role
  • formal Learning and Development, Human Resources, or Quality Assurance experience is a plus
  • bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
  • training certifications and experience with Learning Management Systems are advantageous

Job Duties

  • Design and deliver engaging operational training programs
  • create job skills checklists, onboarding roadmaps, and departmental training plans
  • continuously refine training materials based on evolving procedures and guest feedback
  • collaborate with Rooms Leadership to support operational goals and KPIs
  • oversee Rooms onboarding process and provide structured introduction to company culture
  • conduct hands-on, in-department training to address skill gaps
  • shadow daily operations to identify coaching opportunities and model luxury service behaviors
  • partner with leaders to deliver tailored training aligned with performance objectives
  • conduct internal quality checks and audits to ensure adherence to service standards
  • gather and analyze feedback and performance data to assess training effectiveness
  • track training completion and certification status using ADP LMS and Teams
  • certify and coach departmental trainers to foster a collaborative training community
  • champion the company’s vision, mission, and values through training
  • inspire enthusiasm for extraordinary service among associates
  • leverage ADP, Microsoft Teams, and Beekeeper to improve communication and training processes
