Job Requirements
- Mandatory requirement to live on site or within 30 minutes of the hotel when on call
- exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- ability to manage weekend operations and overnight shifts
- compliance with Sandpiper's fraternization policy
- availability Wednesday through Sunday for on-call duties
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management
- leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- experience in financial management, budgeting, and administrative duties
- ability to handle guest relations and ensure customer satisfaction
- knowledge of hotel operations and brand standards
- experience with major hotel brands preferred (Choice, IHG, Marriott)
Job Duties
- Live on-site or be available within 30 minutes when on-call
- provide overnight on-call coverage Wednesday through Sunday
- manage and lead the front desk team including hiring, training, and personnel evaluations
- supervise weekend operations for front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff
- assist the GM with budget management and payroll review
- ensure high standards of guest service and resolve issues promptly
- ensure compliance with brand and company operational standards
- contribute to sales prospecting efforts
- provide operational backup for front desk and housekeeping as needed
