Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work overnight shifts Monday through Thursday from 9 pm to 7 am
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong numerical aptitude

  • commitment to following safety and hotel policies
  • reliability and professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel front desk or night audit role preferred but not required
  • strong numerical and analytical skills
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work overnight shifts
  • familiarity with hotel reservation systems and basic computer skills
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Greet, register, suggestively sell hotel rooms, issue room keys, assign rooms to guests and set wake up calls in a efficient, warm and friendly manner
  • act as hotel manager on duty and follow prescribed MOD procedures on communication, emergency procedures and guest satisfaction
  • enter daily changes and balance accounts such as guest, house, guest tray, city ledger and advance deposits, reset system for the next business day
  • ensure that the night audit procedures are completed on a daily basis and information entered and posted are accurate, balanced and timely
  • enter information and print night audit reports in an accurate and timely manner per night audit guidelines
  • ensure guest safety by following established security procedures including fire/tornado procedures, key security and guest privacy
  • date stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail, faxes and messages
