Job Requirements
- Previous courtyard bistro experience or similar food outlet experience (e.g. Panera, Starbucks) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Friendly, outgoing, customer service-oriented personality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Hands-on experience with cash register and POS systems
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read and process orders as they appear on the screen
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain certification
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks when needed

Job Duties
- Completes opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools
- Cleaning all equipment and areas
- Sets up, stocks, and maintains work areas
- Takes customer orders, inputs orders into order system, obtains payment and provides change
- Communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Prepares food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol (during PM shifts)
- Prepares ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Prepares and cooks food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- Provides assistance in food and beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables
- Delivers food to guests
- Performs general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area
- Counts bank at end of shift, completes designated cashier reports, resolves any discrepancies, drops off receipts, and secures bank
- Other duties as assigned by management
