Job Requirements
- Previous Courtyard Bistro experience or similar food outlet experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- friendly outgoing customer service oriented personality
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- accuracy and attention to detail
- problem solving and decision making skills
- hands-on experience with cash register and POS systems
- able to work in a fast paced environment
- ability to read and process orders as they appear on the screen
- food safety certification or ability to obtain certification
- must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks when needed

Job Duties
- Completes opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools
- cleaning all equipment and areas
- sets up, stocks, and maintains work areas
- takes customer orders, inputs orders into order system, obtains payment and provides change
- communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- prepares food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol during PM shifts
- prepares ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- prepares and cooks food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- provides assistance in food and beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables
- delivers food to guests
- performs general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area
- counts bank at end of shift, completes designated cashier reports, resolves any discrepancies, drops off receipts, and secures bank
- performs other duties as assigned by management
